JUST BEAT

A three-lane rhythm fan-game that dresses like a Just Dance.

Arrows fall down three lanes. You hit left, down or right in time with the music. That's the whole input — everything else is showmanship, and there is a lot of it: mosaic screen wipes, ratings that burst out of the floor, a results recap that counts your score up and slams a rank onto the screen.

Built in Godot, styled after the stage presentation of the Just Dance games.

How it plays

Three lanes, three keys. Every note is judged on timing alone — PERFECT, GOOD, OK, or a miss. Position doesn't save you; the beat does.

Hold notes have to be sustained to the end. Let go early and the tail breaks.

Gold notes are the showpiece. The playfield lurches, the colour splits, and a YEAH lands on the screen — but only if you take it clean.

One ceiling for every track. A flawless run scores exactly 13,000, whether the song runs ninety seconds or four minutes. Short tracks are not the easy road to the top of the board: every chart is worth the same, so the only variable is you.

Five stars at 10,000. Past that the whole star set upgrades — Superstar at 11,000, Megastar at 12,000. All-PERFECT is 13,000 and it is meant to stay rare.

What's in it

25 tracks, hand-charted, each with its own cover, tempo and difficulty rating.

35 achievements on a deliberate ramp, and none of them are free. There is no "finish a track" trophy. The easiest ones ask for five stars or a 200-note streak; the hardest want a full combo on every track in the game, or 10,000 PERFECT notes across your career.

Daily challenges — three a day, the same three for every player, rerolled at UTC midnight. They pay XP, not currency, so they feed your level rather than your wallet.

Profiles, levels and unlocks. Stars bank into XP and bits. XP raises your level; bits buy the tracks you haven't opened yet.

Interface skins. Swap the star set and the rating pops for a different look.

Six languages — English, Español, Deutsch, Português (BR), Français, Русский.
